Looking for a football shirt shop in Edinburgh? Forever Vintage has two, both in the city centre, both full of original shirts you can hold, try on and take home the same day. The online shop carries a photographed selection of the same stock, delivered anywhere in the UK.
Two shops, both in the centre of town
Hanover Street (New Town). 3–5 Hanover Street, Edinburgh EH2 2DL — a minute from Princes Street and George Street, over two floors. Our larger shop and the one with the widest football range.

What you will find on the rails
Vintage football shirts from the 1980s to last season: club shirts, national-team shirts, training wear and the odd full tracksuit. Every shirt is an original made for or by the club, country or kit manufacturer on the label — never a reproduction — and every one is checked by us before it goes on the rail.
Each shirt carries a condition grade and a note of the wear we found, so a 1994 shirt with a cracked print is sold as exactly that. Online, every shirt is photographed as it is; in the shop, you can turn it inside out yourself.
We also hold framed, signed pieces — match-worn and signed shirts in frames, ready to hang. See the framed and signed collection.
Scottish clubs, always in stock
Being an Edinburgh shop, we keep the home teams close: Hearts and Hibernian shirts across the decades, plus Celtic, Rangers and Scotland national-team shirts. English, Italian, Spanish, German and international shirts fill the rest of the rails; the full football collection is online.
Buying in the shop
Try it on. Vintage sizing is a guide, not a promise — a 1990s XL is often a modern L — so the changing room is the surest way to get it right.
Changed your mind? Bring it back within 14 days with your receipt, in the condition you bought it, and we refund you in full to the way you paid. Faulty-goods rights apply in full, in store and online.
Buying online
Everything in the online shop is photographed as it is, measured flat and condition-graded, so what you see is what arrives. UK delivery is free on orders over £60, and you have 30 days to return anything for a full refund — return postage is on us.
Every shirt we sell, in store or online, is guaranteed genuine. If a shirt turns out not to be, return it whenever you discover it and we refund the full price plus your postage.
Finding us
Hanover Street runs north from Princes Street towards Queen Street, crossing George Street; we are at the Princes Street end. Nicolson Street is the continuation of South Bridge, heading south past the university towards Clerk Street. Both shops are within a fifteen-minute walk of Waverley station.
