Returns & Refunds
Every shirt is one-of-one and second-hand, condition-graded with measurements on the listing. If it isn't right for you, send it back.
Changed your mind? You have 30 days. Email hello@forever-vintage.co.uk within 30 days of delivery and we'll send a prepaid returns label. Return postage is on us. Post the item within 14 days of telling us. We refund the full price, plus the standard delivery you paid, to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving it back (or of your proof of posting, if sooner).
Please treat the item as you would in a shop: try it on, but don't wear it out, wash it, or remove any tag we attached. If it comes back with more wear than that, we may reduce the refund.
Discount codes and reduced prices do not affect your right to return. A shirt bought with 10OFF, or at a reduced price, can be returned like any other.
Your legal right. As an online customer you have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Our 30 days sits on top of that. Use the cancellation form below if you like; a plain email is fine.
Faulty, damaged or not as described. Vintage means worn. Fading, cracked prints and marks we have described and photographed are part of the item, not faults. But if a flaw we didn't mention turns up, the measurements are wrong, or you receive the wrong item, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 protects you: a full refund if you tell us within 30 days of delivery, and repair, replacement (where we have one) or refund after that. We pay the return postage. This applies to shop and online purchases alike.
Bought in one of our Edinburgh shops? There is no legal right to return something bought in person because you've changed your mind, but we give you one: bring it back within 14 days with your receipt, in the condition you bought it, and we'll refund you in full to the way you paid. Faulty-goods rights apply in full in-store.
What can't be returned for change of mind: gift cards. Nothing else is excluded — every shirt, frame and accessory can come back within the window.
Framed items. If you need to return one, email us and we'll arrange collection by the same specialist service at no cost to you. If you cancel a framed order within the 14-day cancellation period, we refund the £25 delivery charge as well.
Orders delivered outside the UK. Orders shipped outside the UK are sold through our checkout partner, Global-e, which takes the payment and handles duties. Returns and refunds on those orders follow the process in your order confirmation and Global-e's returns portal; your statutory rights are unaffected. Contact us first and we'll point you to the right place.
Exchanges. Every item is one-of-one, so we can't swap. Return it for a refund and order the one you want.
Refund timing. We email when your return arrives and when the refund is sent; your bank may take a few more days.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
This policy is governed by the law of Scotland. It sits alongside your statutory rights, which it never reduces.
