Our reviews and customer stories

Customer stories — the photographs at the bottom of every page

Those are real customers. Each one bought a shirt from us — in our Hanover Street shop or online — and each one gave us their permission to show their photograph, their words and their first name. We keep that permission privately, so we can show it is genuine.

We choose which stories to show. It is a small, hand-picked set — not every customer, and not a complete record of what people say about us. We don’t claim otherwise, which is why you’ll find no star rating, no average and no review count anywhere on this site. A hand-picked group of stories is not a score, and showing it as one would be dishonest.

Nobody is paid or offered anything. No discount, no freebie, no future favour — ever. If we ever did give somebody something, it would be printed next to their words.

We don’t edit them. We may crop a photograph to fit. We don’t change what anybody said, and we don’t touch the picture of the shirt.

We show how each person bought — in the shop or online — because a testimonial on a website implies the person shopped online, and most of our customers walk through the door.

Anyone can change their mind. Email hello@forever-vintage.co.uk and we take the story off the website within 7 days, and out of any advertising the next time it changes. You don’t have to give a reason.

Product reviews on shirt pages

Where you see reviews on an individual shirt, they were collected by Judge.me after delivery, from people who ordered that shirt from us online. They are the customer’s own words. We publish them all — positive and negative alike — and remove a review only if it is abusive, off-topic, or we have good reason to believe it isn’t genuine.

Most of our shirts are one of a kind, so most pages have no reviews yet. Where there are none, nothing is shown.

If you think a review on this site isn’t genuine, please tell us at hello@forever-vintage.co.uk and we’ll look into it.

Reviews on Google

Some people leave reviews of our shops on Google. We never copy those onto this website. They were written for Google and they stay there.
